The spot

The eagerly awaited plunge will take place at the Orcas Hotel on Orcas island. We chose Orcas Island because it is removed, serene, and magnificent all at once. There is so much to do there; everything from mountain biking to sea kayaking to hiking to relaxing on a deck and enjoying a beautiful view. You can make a weekend out of it, or be in and out for the day. We're looking forward to sharing it with you when we take our vows .

The Hotel is a short walk from the Ferry terminal on the West side of the island

getting there

There is a ferry involved. The ferry leaves from Anacortes. The venue is a short walk from the ferry terminal on Orcas, which is important, because its expensive to take a car on the ferry, and inexpensive to park and walk on the ferry.

There is a late ferry that runs on Saturday, so leaving shouldn't be a problem, though if you choose to stay, there are a lot of great options. A lot of the lodging is on the other side of the island (a twenty minute drive). below is a list of places that are nearby

2. Moran State Park, the only state park on the island, is very popular and has great car camping, but fills up quick so make reservations now. It's about 20 minutes from the wedding.
